I love Hip-Hop, always have and always will. However, I have to say that today’s music artists who perform this genre just don’t give me the ‘chill down my spine’ that 90’s Hip-Hop artists did. I struggle to resonate with them about their struggle because aside from perhaps having to live in an impoverished area or maybe going to a rough school, I don’t often think the ‘struggles’ that these rappers go through are that ‘struggles’ so I disconnect and not listen.
