Wonderwoman Tanya Lacey Shines At Hoxton Sell Out Gig

‘Head Chef’ hitmaker Tanya Lacey headlined Hoxton Square Bar on April 28 before a sold-out sea of scintillatingly avid supporters; rolling out her kaleidoscopic repertoire of heart-wrenching hits in an excellently executed 90 minute spectacle.

‘Letter To My Ex’ initiated the eagerly-sought debut headline concert ; as the 25-year-old Bristol born and raised star powerfully cooed sultrily and soulfully, whilst straightforwardly naming – publically shaming – a bitter-filled bygone flame, illustrating Lacey’s acumen for narrating autobiographical tales of love gone sour.

High Street Fashion Week 2013

The location didn’t help.  This is the first thing that comes to my mind when beginning to summarise Team In-spire’s jaunt down to Central London to attend the 2nd annual High Street Fashion Week 2013.

The schedule looked very exciting and gave an in-depth look into some of the upcoming brands that were there to display their collections. I was particularly looking forward to seeing recent collections from designer on the rise Elisha Francis and  Lipstick Boutique. I had previously been lusting over their collections and trying to establish how I was going to buy them all!

High Street Fashion Week 2013

At In-spire LS Magazine,  fashion is indeed our passion but as much as we may want our budget to stretch further to accommodate our love of ‘High Fashion’. We have to accept that we may not be able to fill our wardrobes with a wide array and generous selection of Jimmy Choo’s and Louboutin’s, just yet!

However, low and behold, there is most definitely a light at the end of the tunnel and a rainbow after the rain! (excuse our sarcasm!) Between the 26th and 28th April, In-spire LS Magazine will be covering three fabulous evenings of the best in emerging high street fashion brands that you need to know about.

For those of you who can’t wait to the catwalk shows, many of the designers and brands will be displaying their collections at the UK’s ‘on the rise’ shopping hot spot ‘BoxPark’ in East London, so make sure you head down there.

Set A New Goal, Dream A New Dream

I recently celebrated my 28th birthday and I have to be honest with you; it was a major shock. My twenties have seemed to just fly by and fr0m remembering what I wore on my 21st birthday, I am now two years from 30!

When I was younger, especially when I attended secondary school. I always imagined that by this age, I would have already accomplished all that I needed to ensure that I lived comfortably and could afford the finer things in life. However, fast forward a few years and I am not there yet. In fact, I have had to take a number of steps back to reflect on just exactly where I was going . Too often, it is so easy to get swept up by life and the experiences that take place, that we can often lose sight of what we ultimately set out to achieve in the first place.

Music Matters: 1 Billionth Singles Download

Earlier this month, the music industry celebrated  a major milestone in its digital evolution, with the total number of digital singles sold in the UK hitting one billion – according to data tracked by the Official Charts Company.

The 1 billion landmark was reached  nine years after legal downloads launched in the UK.  This period has seen a revolution in music consumption for music fans, artists, record labels and digital services alike.

Adele’s Someone Like You was also confirmed as the most downloaded single of all time by the Official Charts Company, followed closely by Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 FT Christina Aguilera, and Gotye FT Kimbra’s Somebody That I Used To Know.
