#CoverOfTheWeek| Malynda Hale – “Writings on the Wall” (Sam Smith Cover)

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, actress, business entrepreneur and activist Malynda Hale has seemingly forged a stellar reputation with her elegant and effortless simplicity throughout a multitude of musical genre’s intertwined, whilst showcasing superb vocal control, warm texture, classic diva-like power and undisputed technical dexterity which leaves listeners breathless. Hale’s immaculately divine cover of GRAMMY Award-winning Sam Smith’s “Spectre” soundtrack smash “Writings on the Wall” prolongs the ongoing narrative that has come to define Hale courtesy of issuing more than a mere solid interpretation from a female perspective on the 007 global hit. Hale’s sublime cover of “Writings on the Wall” is chiefly devoid of productional mimickry and gimmicks, which enables Hale and the basic yet brilliant piano-laced production to merge resolutely on “Writings on the Wall”. “Writings on the Wall” has generated seventeen thousand plays on Soundcloud.
