Having both sensitive and oily skin, I am forever on the look out for products that adequately cleanse and exfoliate without stripping the skin of natural oils and causing irritation. I bought this product a few years ago on a whim and I believe that nothing targets these problems, whilst caring for skin better than Johnson’s. A regular staple in my bathroom cabinet, it’s a product I always come back to.

Billed as a ‘gentle, exfoliating wash’ it promises to ‘polish away dull lifeless skin and impurities while caring for your skin’. I’m happy to report that this purse-friendly product does exactly what it says on the tin (well, bottle).

For over 100 years, Johnson’s have built a reputation for being a strong and valued family brand. From its roots producing baby products, Johnson’s have now applied its years of skincare know-how into a broader product range named ‘Johnson’s Daily Essentials’. This popular range also includes moisturisers and make up removers for normal, dry and combination skin.

With tiny rounded micro breads and a subtle scent of jasmine, this daily exfoliating wash guarantees to restore skin’s freshness via ‘skin-loving minerals’. Containing the skin-softening agent Glycerine as well as being soap-free, a small amount of this product is enough to cleanse your entire face and neck without leaving any residue or tightness of the skin. Unlike traditional face scrubs which contain large granules that are highly abrasive and damaging to the skin, Johnson’s is so gentle, that it can be used daily on all skin types.

I cannot rate this product highly enough – To top it off, it is also great value. Usually priced at £3.29 for 150ml bottle, it is currently on offer at Superdrug for only £1.59!!
