Last Monday, the biggest stars of fashion, music and modelling descended on New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 69th annual Met Gala.
The Met Gala is one of the most highly anticipated nights in the fashion calendar. This year the theme was “Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-between”; hosted by American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams. Although some preferred to opt for somewhat safer representations of the avant garde theme, many celebrities rose to the occasion with a range of conceptual looks.
