The distinctive icon everybody knows, still stands as one of my favourite designers, who still embodies the eye of Mr Yves Henri himself, his classy, edgy chic look for girls is not only outfits for the catwalk but can be worn off the runway also. Although, the price tag may be out of reach for some, the dream is still in the minds of many. He turns a very simple look and adds a few ruffles, or exaggerated drama to a particular part of the outfit to turn in into a masterpiece fit for the best occasions. His creations make for everything you need to create a signature style and look. His personality is evident in the designs and you can see creativity and a fine attention paid to every small detail. Yves Saint Laurent is a name we all know, there designs capture culture, shows an influence and show boldness.

 

The great thing is that there is no end to the styles and regions of fashion they have a part in with a perfume range, bags, shoe range etc it’s indeed a name to be reckoned with. Worn on the Red Carpets by many notable celebrities as well as being modelled in a number of fashion magazines and spreads the brand itself has built its place in the industry and deserves the long standing appraisal.

Always keeping up with the times, it has managed to always stay on trend in a way that it always creates a new one, whether its the chic look; dresses, bold colours, long trails, high waisted skirts. They not only create new ideas but the update existing looks and add a personal and distinctive touch.
