#MyLookMyWay| Ripped All The Way

This year, ripped jeans have been the must buy fashion accessory for many of us.  I personally can’t get enough of them and now own four pairs. (I know it’s not that extensive compared to some!) This pair in particular is my current favourite as it fits my body well and is a boyfriend jean so isn’t too feminine. I’m always told by my partner that when I wear anything white it looks good, and I have to agree on this occasion. I love a simple white vest or tee paired with ripped jeans as it’s understated and allows the jeans to take all the attention.

#BeInspired| The Magic In STARTING OVER

It is not too late to turn 2014 into your best year. Some people have entered into the New Year knowing what they want, whist others conceal their desires beneath a surface of anxiety and fear; with an intense lack of self belief holding them back.

Time passes by with the same resounding voice singing her favourite old song “I need to Start Over”

I am here to inspire, motivate and tell you it’s never too late to draw a line in the sand and leave the past behind. Before change can occur, it is important to understand what you want and how to create it. ‘Are you ready to face the doubt and insecurity staring you in the eyes’?

#In-spireLSTravel| Explore Your World: Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is a member of the group of islands that make up the Canary Islands. Fuerteventura has a considerable amount of shoreline with white sandy beaches, interspersed with sometimes quite heavily duned banks bordering the beaches. It is perhaps one of the more windy islands, even during the summer months. Although this can be a bonus, given the temperatures reach 100° at the height of the summer. It is this combination of heat, wind and sea that attracts windsurfers, kite surfers and the like almost the whole year round. If surfing is your bag then Fuerteventura is most definitely a destination for you. Most hotels have very sizeable swimming pools, (although some are not heated), a bar and hot food or a buffet available for the vast majority of the day.

#HealthMatters| The Benefits of Doing A Detox

Having spoken to many people who have taken the time to answer a few of my questions I had about detoxing and how it felt for them, I wanted to share with you all what I found and what the general benefits are for the human body.

The question “what is a detox?” is something that is asked by many, especially those who wish to lose weight. Simply put, it is the basic process of removing all the toxins from the body. This process involves many different fundamentals; including herbal detoxification regimens, a change of diet and also vitamin supplements. This is one of the best ways to fully rid your body of these toxins, which can slow down our body and make it unhealthy. This process isn’t an easy one, and definitely requires much discipline.

#MovieMatters| Controversial Cult Film The Record Keeper Launches Its World Premiere at Raindance Film Festival

Jason Satterlund’s steampunk sci-fi The Record Keeper has caused quite a stir around the world. It started life as a web series commissioned by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, based on Ellen G. White’s book The Great Controversy. When the  was released last year it went viral, beating Stan Lee to win  at the Geekie Awards in Hollywood. However, after a change of heart by leadership, the church decided not to release the series due to claims of “problematic and theologically inaccurate matters raised.” This was a huge blow to Satterlund, who had dedicated two and a half years of his life to making the series. Fans from all over the world were so distraught that they set up a  facebook page. After signing with producer and manager Louise Hart from Steady On Productions, Satterlund adapted the series into a feature film, which will now have its world premiere at London’s prestigious Raindance Film Festival.
